Matt, Matthew and I are having a wonderful summer so far. Matthew is a very busy little boy and he loves to be outside. We spend much of our time outside walking, bike riding and playing with the neighborhood dogs. Matthew is very independent and can spend all his time toddling around playing with rocks and whatever else he can find outside.
Matthew has outgrown his milk and soy intolerance and is eating everything in sight. Just today he had two hot dogs, a granola bar AND a banana jello snack pack for lunch! His favorite foods are cinnamon rolls, mac and cheese, and Grandpa Onken's chocolate chip pancakes. He is a good eater and we are really enjoying trying him on new things.
Matthew had a difficult time this winter with multiple ear infections and coughing. He had surgery for tubes in his ears and has done very well. We also saw a pediatric pulmonologist a few weeks ago and Matthew was officially diagnosed with asthma. We give Matthew an inhaler every day and singulair at night and it really helps. The asthma never seems to bother him too much other than an occasional cough.
We hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
